about

Shipping will be delayed by approximately 7 days. Expected posting date will now be the 10th of September.

Ghostwriter is an occasional music and sound collage network led since 2009 by novelist, music historian and musician Mark Brend. The revolving cast of collaborators and contributors has included - to date - Jim Jupp (Ghostbox), Darren Hayman, David Sheppard, Suzy Mangion, Michael Weston King and the author Colin Wilson.

For this single, Adrian Ramsey helped with the writing of "Between This World And The Next" and played the acoustic guitar. "Mistaken For A Literary Man" was written and recorded one afternoon in a house in North Yorkshire. The chimes are samples of the clocks in that house. Both of those pieces were recorded in the past. "Examen" started out as a glockenspiel improvisation. It was recorded in the present.
